Dobe chosen as principal of Captain Samuel Douglass Academy in Brookline
The next principal of Captain Samuel Douglass Academy has been chosen.
Dennis W. Dobe will start July 1, replacing Laurie Wenger, who will retire at the end of the school year.
Dobe is principal of Woodland Heights Elementary School in Laconia. He also served as principal at Newfields Elementary School; as assistant principal of Stratham Memorial School, Bow Elementary School and West Running Brook Middle School, Derry; and as a classroom teacher for several years.
Dobe has a Master of Education from Plymouth State University and a bachelor’s degree from Notre Dame College. He is a member of several professional organizations and regularly participates in educational conferences.
