Pelham says half-dozen teens broke into vacant house for drinking party
PELHAM – Six 17-year-olds, all from Pelham, have been arrested and charged with breaking into a vacant house for a drinking party, according to Pelham Police Department.

As officers arrived and began checking the area, they heard the sound of breaking glass coming from the rear of a nearby vacant home.
Police said they found three individuals hiding in some bushes: 17-year-olds Matthew L. Ryan, Savanna Mayberry and Nicholas Mayberry, all of Pelham.
The three were taken into custody and charged with criminal trespassing.
Officers saw three more people inside, police said. One fled while the others were arrested. They were identified as 17-year-olds Mitchell Kamal and Colby Forrest, both of Pelham. Kamal was charged with criminal mischief and criminal trespass. Forrest was charged with criminal trespass, possession of drugs, unlawful possession of alcohol by a minor and facilitating an underage drinking party.
Police said they later found the third person who fled, identified as Natasha Blakeslee 17, of Pelham. Blakeslee was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass.
The house party incident remains under investigation and upgraded charges/arrests are possible. The Salem and Windham police departments assisted with the situation.
All of the individuals were released and are scheduled to appear before the Salem district court on Feb. 10, 2014.
