NASHUA – A former Nashua man arrested over the summer in connection with a series of alleged burglaries and thefts from downtown Nashua businesses has been indicted on multiple felony counts.

A Hillsborough County grand jury indicted Calvin Degreenia, 27, currently incarcerated at the Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, on 10 counts of burglary, all Class B felonies, and one count of theft, a Class A felony, charges that accuse him of breaking into the businesses, mostly restaurants, and stealing electronics in August and early September.

Degreenia is among a number of local men and women indicted in November.

An indictment is not a finding of guilt, but a determination by the grand jury that prosecutors have enough evidence for the case to be moved to the Superior Court level.

Other notable indictments released Monday include the following, listed alphabetically:

Darren Benton, 37, 9 Middle St., Nashua: Two counts, robbery, Class B felonies, July 27 in Nashua.

Karen Boardman, 28, 14 Tenby Drive, Nashua: Five counts, unlawful possession of prescription drugs, Class A misdemeanors; three counts, possession of a controlled drug and one count, possession of a narcotic drug, all unclassified felonies; and one count, driving under the influence, Class B misdemeanor, on Sept. 28 in Nashua.

Christopher Cohen, 34, 25 Greeley St., Nashua: Three counts, simple assault – domestic violence; two counts, criminal mischief; one count each, possession of narcotic drug and possession of marijuana, Sept. 4 and 8 in Nashua.

Jason Crosby, 32, Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, Manchester: One count, armed robbery, Class A felony, on Aug. 23 in Hudson.

Kyle Decosta, 30, 7 Demanche St., Nashua: One count, aggravated felonious sexual assault, special felony, Jan. 12 in Nashua.

John Robert Griffin, 53, Hillsborough County Department of Corrections, Manchester: One count, armed robbery and one count, theft, both Class A felonies; one count, robbery, Class B felony; one count, carrying concealed weapon without permit, Sept. 11 in Merrimack.
