Five Guys opens second Nashua location on Daniel Webster Highway

By Staff | Apr 14, 2013

NASHUA – The popular hamburger joint Five Guys has opened a new location in the city on Daniel Webster Highway.

Five Guys, a national food chain with more than 1,000 locations, first opened in New Hampshire in 2009 when it moved to Amherst Street in Nashua.

The north Nashua restaurant now has a complementary shop, head shift supervisor Jacob Cote said.

“This is close to the Massachusetts border, and with all the shopping around here and people
coming state to state to go to work or leaving to get to work, we thought this was the best location to put the Five Guys in,” he said.

The new location opened on April 4, and they’re steadily seeing customers come in.

The new restaurant is a little larger than the Amherst operation, with about 35 employees, although the square footage is slightly smaller.

The new restaurant marks the seventh to open in the Granite State, with others in Manchester, Keene, Derry, Dover and, most recently, West Lebanon. Five Guys South Nashua is at 258 Daniel Webster Highway.
