By Staff | Nov 2, 2012

A Nashua man faces a felony charge for driving as a habitual offender of motor vehicle laws.

Eric Hendrickson, 50, of 7 Tumblebrook Lane, was arrested at 6:35 a.m. Thursday and charged with driving while being certified as a habitual offender, Class B felony, and driving without giving proof of financial responsibility, a Class A misdemeanor, police said.

At about 6:30 a.m., patrol officers stopped a vehicle Hendrickson was operating on West Hollis Street, police said.

A records check confirmed Hendrickson’s license status was revoked, as he was certified as a habitual offender and required to give proof of financial responsibility, police said.

The habitual offender charge is punishable by up to five years in prison, plus fines. The misdemeanor offense is punishable by up to a year in county jail, plus fines.

Hendrickson was being held at the Nashua Police Department on $2,000 cash or surety bail pending an arraignment at Nashua district court, police said.
