Pappas cheers record-setting NH exports

By Staff | Mar 3, 2023

MANCHESTER – U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-01), a member of the House Committee on Small Business, applauded New Hampshire’s record-setting $7.3 billion in exports in 2022, nearly $1 billion more than our exports in 2021.

“New Hampshire record-setting export numbers underscore what we already know: that the Granite State’s economy is among the strongest in the nation and that our manufacturing sector and small businesses can and do compete in the global marketplace,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “I was proud to fight to pass the CHIPS and Science Act, landmark legislation to strengthen the domestic manufacturing of semiconductors and create more goods and high-paying jobs right here at home. We know there is more work to do, which is why I remain committed to continuing to deliver resources and results for New Hampshire, including developing and growing our workforce, lowering the cost of energy, and continuing to invest in our infrastructure.”
