WASHINGTON – On Wednesday, Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack and Under Secretary for Rural Development Xochitl Torres Small will travel to New Hampshire. There, they will join U.S. Rep. Annie Kuster (NH-02) at a healthcare facility in Grafton County, where they will announce a major investment by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to bolster access to health care in rural America. In New Hampshire, resources from this investment will support a variety of projects across the state that will help stem the substance use disorder epidemic, support Granite Staters’ access to critical mental health services, and more. The investment is part of the Biden-Harris administration’s commitment to ensure every person and family in America has access to high-quality health care no matter their zip code.
