CONCORD – The world’s best whiskeys, tequilas, vodkas, rums and more will be on display during the highly anticipated Distiller’s Week, hosted by the New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC), from October 31 to November 4, 2022. Top distillers and spirit industry celebrities, experts, owners, and brand ambassadors will descend on New Hampshire for a week-long series of bottle signings, tastings, pairing dinners and seminars. The headline event of Distiller’s Week, the ninth annual Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits, boasts more than 600 premium and ultra-premium spirits for sampling and delicious cuisine from dozens of New Hampshire’s best restaurants and food vendors, with proceeds benefiting the New Hampshire Food Bank. Tickets are on sale now at www.distillersshowcase.com for the Distiller’s Showcase, taking place Thursday, November 3, at the DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Downtown. Early bird tickets cost just $60 if purchased before Sunday, October 2. After October 2, the ticket price will increase to $75. Attendees will be able to purchase products during the event and pick them up in the following days at one of their convenient NH Liquor & Wine Outlet locations.

“The New Hampshire Liquor Commission is committed to delivering world-class events for our customers and Distiller’s Week is a prime example of that,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph W. Mollica. “We look forward to welcoming distillers from across the country and the globe who will gather to share their passion and world-class products with our customers. We are especially proud to have our signature event – the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits – benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank and the incredible work it does distributing food to those in need throughout our state.”

NHLC will host, “A Taste of Ireland: Exploring Premium Irish Spirits,” on Wednesday, November 2, at the Manchester Country Club in Bedford. Leading Irish spirit experts and distillers will present a series of products from premium brands, such as Clonakilty, Coole Swan, Drumshanbo, Five Farms, Green Spot, Redbreast, The Legendary Dark Silkie, West Cork and Writer’s Tears, in a guided, seminar-style tasting. The exclusive event is in partnership with Board Bia – the Irish Food Board, which works to bring Ireland’s world-class food, drink, and horticulture to the world. The reception begins at 5:30 PM with hors d’oeuvres and signature cocktail sampling. Tickets cost $60 and at the conclusion of the event, attendees will be able purchase products with a 15% discount on every bottle.

NHLC will host a Buffalo Trace Tasting Dinner on Tuesday, November 1, at the Crown Tavern in Manchester. The five-course dinner will include samples from Buffalo Trace’s most exclusive lines of bourbons, including Pappy Van Winkle and the Buffalo Trace Antique Collection.

Proceeds from the Distiller’s Showcase of Premium Spirits benefit the New Hampshire Food Bank. The Food Bank provides nutritious food and resources to New Hampshire residents who are food insecure, meaning they do not know where their next meal is coming from. In 2021, as the state’s only Food Bank, the New Hampshire Food Bank efficiently procured and distributed more than 17 million pounds of non-perishable food items, fresh produce, and meats to more than 400 nonprofit food agencies in all corners of New Hampshire.

“We are grateful to continue our partnership with NHLC to fight food insecurity in the Granite State,” said Eileen Liponis, Executive Director, New Hampshire Food Bank. “An estimated 7% of all New Hampshire residents, including approximately 9.5% of children, struggle with food insecurity, meaning they do not know when or where their next meal will come from and support from NHLC and the Distiller’s Showcase will be essential to providing nutritious meals to individuals and families in need. We encourage the public to attend, enjoy the exclusive event, and support our efforts to end hunger in New Hampshire.”
