Pappas raises $390,000 in pre-primary period, double his 2020 amount
MANCHESTER – The campaign of U.S. Rep. Chris Pappas (NH-01) announced that it raised $390,000 in the pre-primary filling period (July 1 to August 24), an amount that is double the total raised in the same time period by Pappas in 2020. Pappas leads the field with $2.2 million cash-on-hand heading into the general election. Last quarter, Pappas set a fundraising record, bringing in more money than any New Hampshire congressional candidate has ever raised in the second quarter of an Election Year. That follows cycle-to-date and cash-on-hand records set by Pappas in an off-year in the First District.
“I am incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support our campaign has received from Democrats, Republicans, and independents across the state,” said Congressman Chris Pappas. “This latest fundraising support shows just how much enthusiasm and momentum our campaign has generated. From record-setting fundraising to a full-scale grassroots operation in every corner of the District, our team is ready to win. I’m looking forward to continuing to travel throughout the state, talking about my record of lowering costs for families, standing up to Big Pharma and Big Oil, investing in our infrastructure, and helping our veterans get the care and support they have earned. This election is a choice between electing a representative who serves the special interests or one who serves the people’s interests, and as long as I have this job, I’ll always put the people of New Hampshire first.”
