To kick off Mental Health Awareness Month, U.S. Senator Maggie Hassan and Representative Chris Pappas will hold a virtual roundtable on Monday to discuss mental health challenges faced by veterans and service members. They will highlight their bipartisan bill to help states implement ‘Green Alert’ systems to help find missing, at-risk veterans. Senator Hassan and Representative Pappas will be joined by veterans and leaders of Veterans Service Organizations who have experience working to prevent veteran suicide in New Hampshire.

Earlier, Senator Hassan will hold a roundtable discussion with 603 Forward and local businesses at To Share Brewing Company in Manchester to discuss the various COVID-19 relief that these businesses have received and how they are approaching the economic recovery from the pandemic. Businesses participating in the roundtable include To Share Brewing Company, Campo Enoteca, Deo Mwano Consultancy, and Red River Theatres.

The Senator will also attend a ribbon cutting for the Boys and Girls Club of Manchester Edward S. Wolak Clubhouse Annex, which will enable the Boys and Girls Club to go from serving 4,000 young people in the Manchester area to 6,000.
