SALEM, N.H. (AP) — A fire and explosion at the garage of a house displaced four people, but caused no injuries, authorities in Salem, New Hampshire, said.

An explosion was heard at the home at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday, firefighters said. The structure caught on fire and started to burn the house, but firefighters were able to put it out. A neighbor’s house also was damaged from the fire and explosion, firefighters said.

The cause of the explosion and fire weren’t immediately known.
