Students experience nature’s uniqueness
Editor’s Note: This is part of a continuing series of articles from Nashua High School South senior Abbey Rowe, who is www the adventures of nearly 70 local high school students on their trip to Hawaii.
Day 9
Today, some of us got to relax at the hotel, while others went zip lining, on an eco-tour, and swimming with the manta rays. Personally, I was able to zip line and go swimming with the manta rays.
We learned a lot about different trees and invasive plants while zip lining, and learned a ton about manta rays. People on the eco-tour were able to swim with the rare whale shark, as well.
Hannah Swain, a senior at Nashua High School South said, “While I was zip lining, I just felt pure happiness. I was laughing and yelling the whole way down, just enjoying the ride. The nature in Hawaii is one of the most unique things I have ever seen.”
Tomorrow, more of us get to go on the eco-tour and zip lining, while some of us get to relax and watch the dolphins at our hotel.
