WORCESTER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE
Evelyn Platko, of Merrimack, a junior majoring in biology and biotechnology, and Matthew Morais, of Litchfield, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, recently completed an intense, hands-on research project in Morocco. The project was titled "Advancing Water Management Strategies in Morocco." At WPI, all undergraduates are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology to address an important societal need or issue. WPI is located in Worcester, Mass.
