Host family sought for Thai student
NASHUA – The Massachusetts Bay Area team of AFS Intercultural Programs is looking for a family to host an exchange student from Thailand, who is attending Nashua High School North, for the remainder of the school year, or until June 28.
Aim is a 16-year-old girl who is acclimating quickly to her American experience. She is in 10th grade, but is taking several junior-level classes, including honors English.
Aim enjoys playing games, hanging out with her host family and doing activities with the friends she has made at North. She played Unified soccer this fall, participates in Girl Scout activities and is looking forward to trying the ski team, as it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for her.
The program would like to find a family in the Nashua North district so she can continue with her academic experience there for the remainder of the year.
Aim is in a family who gave her a warm welcome to the United States, but who are unable to keep her for the entire year.
