MILFORD – On Tuesday, May 26, Milford High School students Derek Lovejoy, Caleb Wiig and Blake Corbit presented Shelly Wolcott, of Milford, owner of Healthy Solutions Spice Blends, their newly designed retail floor display created for the company.

The new floor display designed by the students, along with teacher Frank Xydias (pre-engineering), was a real-life assignment and accomplishment that will be used by the company to display its spice blends in supermarkets across America.

The students’ assignment was to design a more flexible floor display than the company presently uses. Not only did the students accomplish those goals, but they also created a floor display with a smaller footprint, one that was lighter and also reduced the cost of producing the displays.

The students also presented Wolcott with a set of blueprints for further production of the floor displays.
