Nashua school follows up successful fundraiser with challenge to local businesses
NASHUA – Infant Jesus School wrapped up Catholic Schools Week with its first Rock-A-Thon.
The fundraiser, popular with colleges and other bigger organizations, was carried out by the teachers and students, and raised just over $10,000.
Now, the school would like to take the effort to the next level, and has created the Rock-A-Thon Challenge for local businesses and individuals. Match the donations that have come in so far and help the school continue to make a difference in the lives of students from Greater Nashua.
The money raised will go toward upgrading some of the technology in the computer lab, new textbooks and updating the security system in the school.
Infant Jesus School serves students from throughout Greater Nashua. While some choose the school based on their faith, most choose it for the level of academic excellence it delivers.
