Applewild School in Fitchburg holding February admissions events
FITCHBURG, Mass. – Applewild School will host a series of admissions events during February.
The school invites prospective families to visit on a day of their choice, see teachers and students in action, and join in its family-style lunch.
Families can register for a tour and lunch on a day of their choosing by contacting Jen Wing, director of admission and financial aid, at 1-978-342-6053, ext. 110, or jwing@applewild.org.
At 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 17, parents of children entering kindergarten and first grade are invited to a round-table discussion about early primary education. Wing will lead the discussion, joined by kindergarten teacher Bailey Shea, first-grade teacher Milissa Cafarella and Lower School head Tally Lent.
A children’s activity will be provided by extended day program coordinator Molly Kalter.
At 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 28, AppleCore Scholarship Interview Day will be held. Students who have applied for an AppleCore Scholarship are invited to participate in a group activity and a personal interview. Parents will have coffee and participate in a discussion with school administrators and the director of admissions.
