Infant Jesus School in Nashua to celebrate National School Choice Week
NASHUA – Infant Jesus School will hold an event at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, to celebrate the end of National School Choice Week.
The event will close out a week of activities for the students and two open houses for new families from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 28. It will feature the children “Rocking” out for fun.
Infant Jesus School is a private catholic school serving prekindergarten, kindergarten and grades 1-6, with a student enrollment of 150. It is one of more than 9,000 schools participating in National School Choice Week from Jan. 25-31. The goal of the week is to shine a positive spotlight on all types of education options for children – from traditional public schools to public charter schools, magnet schools, private schools, online learning and home schooling.
“We are excited to have IJS participate in National School Choice Week with this special event,” said Andrew Campanella, National School Choice Week president. “It is because of great events like this that National School Choice Week in New Hampshire and across the country will break records as the largest and most influential celebration of educational opportunity in American history.”
