Here are college achievements by students from Greater Nashua:

ARIZONA STATE UNIVERSITY

Paula MacLellan, of Amherst, graduated at the spring 2014 commencement ceremony at Arizona State University at Tempe.

These local students were named to the fall 2014 dean’s list at Arizona State University:

FROM HOLLIS: Ludwig Ahgren, Ashlyn Napolitano.

FROM HUDSON: Seung Choe.

FROM MILFORD: Nicole Goyette Shank, Rachel Quirbach.

FROM NASHUA: Zachary Peterson.

BATES COLLEGE

Kelsey Berry, of Hollis, a student at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad at the National University of Ireland in Galway. Berry is a psychology major at Bates. She is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Craig C. Berry of Hollis.

Michael Stone, of Litchfield, a student at Bates College, spent the fall 2014 semester studying abroad in Austria. Stone is majoring in politics and theater. He is
the son of Kenneth E. Stone and Ellen Hay-Stone of Litchfield.

BELMONT UNIVERSITY

These local students were named to the fall 2014 dean’s list at Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn.:

FROM HOLLIS: Riley Bauer, Timothy Rencken.

FROM HUDSON: Lauren Weber.

CLARKSON UNIVERSITY

Dalton P. Perry, of Hudson, majoring in business studies at Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., received the R. David Diederich ’64 Memorial Endowed Scholarship for the 2014-15 academic year.

COLBY-SAWYER COLLEGE

These local students at Colby-Sawyer College in
New London have completed their required college internships:

Brian Anderson, of Nashua, completed an internship at Stevens High School in Claremont.

Michael Dougherty, of Hollis, completed an internship at Easter Seals New Hampshire in Manchester.

CONCORDIA UNIVERSITY

Concordia University in Nebraska celebrated the holidays with its annual Christmas at Concordia concerts from Dec. 5-7 at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward. Sean Carpenter, a senior from Hollis, participated in the concerts as a Bass I in the male chorus.

DEAN COLLEGE

Morgan Coleman, of Merrimack, was named to the fall 2014 dean’s list at Dean College in Franklin, Mass.

EMPORIA STATE UNIVERSITY

Kyle Andrew Hinchcliffe, of Nashua, graduated in December 2014 with a Master of Science in health, physical education and recreation from Emporia State University in Kansas.

MCPHS UNIVERSITY

Christopher Rochon, of Hudson, was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Rochon was initiated at MCPHS University in Boston.

Sung Kim, of Merrimack, was recently initiated into Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. Kim was initiated at MCPHS University in Boston.

OKLAHOMA STATE UNIVERSITY

Elizabeth Forbes and Melissa M. Givens, of Nashua, were named to the president’s honor roll for the fall 2014 semester at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater.

Amanda Marie Geisinger, of Mont Vernon, was named to the dean’s list for the fall 2014 semester at Oklahoma State University.
