Scholarships awarded to students from Greater Nashua
Scholarships were awarded to these students from Greater Nashua recently:
AMHERST
AMHERST ORTHODONTICS AWARDS SCHOLARSHIPS
Amherst Orthodontics announced the recipients of the 2014 Amherst Orthodontic Scientific Scholarship. Applications were accepted from graduates ranking in the top 10 percent of their class who are pursuing a college education in the health care profession. Dr. Diane Shieh presented the scholarships to Savannah Werne, Hollis Brookline High School, who will attend Purdue University; Claire Bilik, Milford High School, who will attend New Hampshire Technical Institute; and Elizabeth Lapsley, Souhegan High School, who will attend the University of New Hampshire.
BROOKLINE
MOLLY McCABE
Molly McCabe, of Brookline, was recently awarded a $2,500 scholar-athlete scholarship by the New Hampshire Fisher Cats Foundation. McCabe was a four-year letter winner in cross country and indoor and outdoor track at Bishop Guertin High School. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year Gold Honor Roll Student. McCabe will attend Boston College.
HUDSON
CHRISTINA GUESSFERD
Christina Guessferd, of Hudson, was recently awarded a $2,500 Student Broadcaster Scholarship by the New Hampshire Association of Broadcasters. Guessferd is a student at Emerson College in Boston.
NASHUA
MICHELLE MARTIN
Michelle Martin, daughter of Karen Martin, of Nashua, was a winner of the Interstate Resources Scholarship Program sponsored by Interstate Resources. She is majoring in postproduction at Emerson College.
