MOUNT IDA COLLEGE

These local students graduated this spring from Mount Ida College in Newton, Mass.

FROM HUDSON: Rachel Kobelenz Silverhus, B.S. in applied forensic science, forensic psychology.

FROM NASHUA: Erica Frasca, B.S. in veterinary technology.

NAZARETH COLLEGE

Sean Dorman of Brookline graduated with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy this spring from Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y.

Nicole Kabel of Hollis, a nursing major, was named to the spring 2014 dean’s list at Nazareth College in Rochester, N.Y.

NEW ENGLAND COLLEGE

Alexandria Frisoli of Wilton was named to the spring 2014 dean’s list at New England College in Henniker.

POMONA COLLEGE

Lauren Catherine Vazquez of Hollis was awarded a B.A. in psychology spring from Pomona College in Claremont, Calif. Vazquez was a member of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society; Pomona College Scholar for three years; Jumpstart team leader; and Relay for Life Production co-chair. Vazquez is a graduate of Bishop Guertin High School. Her parents are Gary, who passed away in 2013, and Mary Jane Vazquez of Hollis.

RICE UNIVERSITY

Renee Reder, of Nashua, graduated this spring from Rice University in Houston, Texas. Rice received a Master of Architecture degree in architecture.

RIVIER UNIVERSITY

Marisa Donati of Brookline graduated this spring with her Master of Education specializing in school counseling from Rivier University in Nashua.

ROCHESTER INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

Taylor R. Gosselin, a 2010 graduate of Milford High School, received his Bachelor of Science Degree in biochemistry this spring from the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology. While maintaining high academic performance he was also very active and a leader in the college community, serving as the Quaestor for the Sigma Chi fraternity and the events coordinator for the College Activities Board. He will be pursuing his PhD starting this fall at the University of Connecticut.
