Greater Nashua students complete WPI projects
WORCESTER, Mass. – All undergraduates at Worcester Polytechnic Institute are required to complete a research-driven, professional-level project that applies science and technology to addresses an important societal need or issue.
About two-thirds of students complete a project at one of the university’s 35 off-campus project centers, which are located around the world.
Greater Nashua students who completed projects were:
Lisa Batbouta, of Hollis, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, who completed a project in Thailand titled “Marketing Highland Grains.”
Kellie Dickerson, of Brookline, a junior majoring in chemical engineering, who completed a project in Thailand titled “Marketing Highland Grains.”
Omri Flaisher, of Litchfield, a junior majoring in mechanical engineering, who completed a project in China titled “Quality Urban Living in Hong Kong: Shrinking Spaces.”
Nicholas Kepka Calvetti, of Amherst, a junior majoring in management, who completed a project in New Zealand titled “Risk in Preserved Buildings.”
John Potter, of Nashua, a junior majoring in biomedical engineering, who completed a project in New Zealand titled “Risk in Preserved Buildings.”
