NCA teams excel in Vex Robotics competitions
NASHUA – Four students from Nashua Christian Academy competed on the championship alliance team at the Vex Robotics Tournament at Winnacunnet High School in Hampton on Saturday, Feb. 8.
Kyra Boucher, Zach Brown, Robert Misiag and Hailey Moore represented two of the three teams that were crowned tournament champions.
The tournament included 53 teams from New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island, and was the final regular-season competition in the region. All four students qualified to take part in the state competition at NHTI, Concord’s Community College, as well as in the New England regional tournament in Worcester, Mass. The regional event invites the winners and runners-up from the regular-season competitions to compete for the opportunity to go on to the world competition.
Based on high skills and programming points during the season, Nashua Christian Academy’s remaining team, headed by Joseph Cameron, was also invited to the state and regional events.
