Alex Dupont, of Nashua, is studying in Dessau, Germany, during the spring semester. Dupont is a third-year industrial design major in the Rochester (N.Y.) Institute of Technology’s College of Imaging Arts and Sciences.

CASEY FELTHAM

Casey Feltham, a undergraduate biology major from Nashua, was recognized with a Undergraduate Research Excellence Award at San Diego State University’s seventh annual Student Research Symposium.

Feltham was one of 375 presenters during the two-day symposium. During the event, which took place March 7-8, graduate and undergraduate students showcased original research through presentations on a variety of topics.

NATALIE WINGATE

Sophomore Natalie Wingate, of Nashua, was among more than 130 Providence (R.I.) College students who volunteered to spend their spring break working at Habitat for Humanity home sites in four locations in the United States. Wingate worked on a project in Wilmington, Del.

SAINT ANSELM COLLEGE

Forty Saint Anselm College students were inducted into the TAU Chapter of the Delta Epsilon Sigma National Scholastic Honor Society.

MAITRI CHITTIDI

Bates College student Maitri Chittidi delivered a researched-based presentation at the Mount David Summit, the Lewiston, Maine, school’s annual campuswide celebration of student academic achievement held in late March. Chittidi delivered a presentation titled “Engaging with Maine: Documentaries on Ten Political Organizations.”

Chittidi, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Satya M. Chittidi, of Nashua, is a 2013 graduate of Nashua High School South.

AUBRIANNE LADUKE

Emerson College student Aubrianne LaDuke, of Litchfield, who’s majoring in Writing for Film and TV, secured an internship position in January at Intrigue Entertainment. LaDuke was to complete the internship study program at the end of April. The internship is part of the experience at Emerson’s Los Angeles Center, the college’s new facility on Sunset Boulevard in Hollywood.

Emerson has had an internship study program in Los Angeles for more than 27 years. Undergraduates pursuing careers in television, film, marketing, acting, screenwriting and journalism attend for one semester, usually in their senior year.

GRACE VANNOY

Bates College student Grace VanNoy, of Hollis, delivered a researched-based presentation at the Mount David Summit, the college’s annual campuswide celebration of student academic achievement held in late March. VanNoy, who is majoring in biology at the Lewiston, Maine, school, delivered
a presentation titled
“Effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy on Chronic Wound Biofilms Grown with Normal Human Skin Fibroblasts.”

VanNoy, the daughter of Jacob L. VanNoy and Kathryn E. Begley, of Hollis, is a 2010 graduate of Hollis Brookline High School.

CHRISTOPHER BLOCK

Members of the Saint Anselm College choir traveled through central Europe during spring break performing in churches. Students included Christopher Block, a freshman communication major from Merrimack.

The tour included stops in Budapest, Hungary; Bratislava, Slovakia; Prague, Czech Republic; and Berlin, where they performed concerts and sang at Mass. They also toured Benedictine Abbey of Pannonhalma Archabbey in Hungary and other historic sites.
