Divyashri Prasath, of Merrimack, gained a “distinction” for her Level 1 examination given in December by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music at Nashua Community Music School.

Divyashri, 8, is a third-grade student at Keystone Montessori School in Chelmsford, Mass. She is the daughter of Preetha and Arun, of Merrimack.

Divyashri attained a distinction in piano, the highest level of achievement. There are eight levels in the program.

Divyashri is the piano student of Marie Mendelow, of Merrimack, who is a graduate of the board’s program.
