WILTON – The 19th annual Hilltop Circus, “Circus is a Wonderland,” will be presented by Pine Hill Waldorf School’s seventh- and eighth-grade students on Friday, Feb. 28, and Saturday, March 1.

The presentation will feature exotic creatures, strongmen, jugglers, magic, skilled acrobats and incredible feats of daring. The show is perfect for all ages.

“Circus is a Wonderland” is directed by Sara Greene, a veteran circus performer, producer and teacher who continues the work of Hilltop Circus founder Jacqueline Davis in leading students in conceptualizing, producing and performing what promises to be a winning show.

Greene will collaborate with Leslie Vogel, a longtime director and composer for the Hilltop Circus Band. Vogel brings with her the Youth and Community Fiddle Orchestra, playing music she has composed and arranged. Vogel can be seen in the Folk Soul Band and in Tattoo, an acoustic dance band.

Performances will be at 7 p.m. Feb. 28 and at 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. March 1.

Tickets are $12 for adults and $6 for ages 3-12. Tickets can be purchased at the Toadstool Bookshop in Milford, Putnam’s Clothing in Wilton, www.pinehill.org/hilltop2014 and at the door if they aren’t sold out.
