NASHUA – A team from the Academy for Science and Design in Nashua won the Mathcounts competition for the southern New Hampshire region on Saturday, Feb. 1, in Bedford.

The team, coached by Karen Legault and Seema Sundara, will compete in the state meet on Saturday, March 8. The students on the team are Owen Long, Sathvika Korandla, Kunaal Sundara and Amol Khanna.

ASD student Raj Das also qualified as one of the top four individuals who are not on any team to advance to the state competition.
