Nashua student earns ‘distinction’ on piano exam
MERRIMACK – Rishika Yadav, of Nashua, gained a “distinction” in December for her Level 1 examination given by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music at the Nashua Community Music School.
Rishika is a seventh-grade student at the Academy for Science and Design. She is the daughter of Namrita and Rishi Yadav. Rishika is the student of Marie Mendelow, of Merrimack, who is a graduate of the board’s program.
Distinction is the highest level of achievement. There are eight levels.
The board, headquartered in London, is the largest international music examination board in the world.
