Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua participates in Patriots-sponsored science fair
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. – The New England Patriots, in collaboration with Boys & Girls Clubs, recently held their sixth annual kickoff event for the Science of Sports Science Fair, presented by Raytheon, at the Hall at Patriot Place.
The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua is among the participants. The event has grown over the years, and this year, there are 31 teams participating from 21 Boys & Girls Clubs in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
The kickoff was an opportunity for the students and Raytheon volunteers to receive instructions for the science- and math-focused projects each group will be creating over the next few months. In the spring, they’ll present their projects to a panel of judges, and the top projects will be reviewed by a panel of judges, including a Patriots player.
