POLICE LOGS FOR OCT. 18-25

On October 18, 2024 at 1558 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Ponemah Road @ Merrimack Road. No injuries were reported.

On October 19, 2024 at 1712 hours, the Amherst Police Department investigated a hit and run accident which occurred in the Walmart parking lot. No injuries were reported.

On October 22, 2024 at 1058 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101A. No injuries were reported.

On October 22, 2024 at 1346 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Amherst Street @ Border Street. No injuries were reported.

On October 23, 2024 at 1407 hours, the Amherst Police Department arrested Wayne Lowe, age 71, of Manchester, NH on a charge of Conduct After an Accident with Injury. Lowe was released on PR bail, with an arraignment date of November 25, 2024 at the Milford District Court.

On October 25, 2024 at 1514 hours, the Amherst Police Department responded to a 2 car accident on Route 101. No injuries were reported.

Amherst Fire Rescue responded to 21 medical calls between October 23, 2024 and October 29, 2024.

On October 23, 2024 at 1638 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a report of a branch / tree on a wire on New Boston Road.

On October 23, 2024 at 1737 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a carbon monoxide detector activation on Storybrook Lane.

On October 25, 2024 at 1514 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a reported accident with injury on Route 101.

On October 27, 2024 at 1343 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a report of smoke in the Chestnut Hill Road area.

On October 27, 2024 at 1741 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a reported illegal burn in the Tamarack Lane area.

On October 27, 2024 at 2248 hours, Amherst Fire Rescue responded to a reported accident with injury on Boston Post Road.
