By Staff | Jul 27, 2020

On July 25, at about 7:24 PM, Officer Colon attempted to conduct a traffic stop of a 2014 Nissan Altima, which he observed crossing the solid double yellow line on Ferry Street near Adelaide Street. Additionally, a concerned motorist had flagged Colon down, to alert him to the operation of the sedan. Using lights and siren, Colon followed the vehicle as it continued into the driveway at 5 Iris Path in Hudson. The male operator of the car exited and refused to stop for Colon. The male suspect was observed entering the rear of the residence. As additional Hudson Police units arrived on scene, the registered owner was identified as: Joshua Carter, 43, of Nashua. Officers made entry into the residence and were able to make contact with Carter, who Colon confirmed was the operator of the sedan. Carter remained uncooperative but was able to be placed into custody. He was transported to the Hudson Police Department and charged with the following offenses:

Disobeying an Officer, DUI – Aggravated – Attempt to Elude Police, DUI, Resisting Arrest (X3), Driving After Suspension 2nd and Driving After Suspension (Refusal of Implied Consent).

Carter posted bail and is scheduled to appear at 9th Circuit Court in Nashua.
