Server accused of pilfering money

By Dean Shalhoup - Senior Staff Writer | Jan 27, 2020

HUDSON – Police say Officer David Glaser’s nearly two-month-long investigation into allegations that a server had been pilfering money while working at a local restaurant has yielded an arrest.

After a warrant had been issued for her arrest, the server, Olivia Naitza, 33, of Hudson, turned herself in to police over the weekend, according to police.

She was arrested and charged with one count of theft by deception, a Class A felony, which accuses her of taking money from her then-employer, North Side Grille, 323 Derry Road, over what police described as “an extended length of time.”

Naitza was booked on the charge and later released on personal recognizance bail pending arraignment, which police said is scheduled for Feb. 13 in Hillsborough County Superior Court South in Nashua.

Police didn’t say how long Naitza had been employed at North Side, how long she had allegedly been taking money from the business, nor provide the amount of money she is accused of taking.
