NASHUA – When members of Nashua’s Problem Oriented Policing (POP) Unit arrested Hudson resident Scott Graham back on Oct. 8, they charged him with one felony count each of certain uses of computer services prohibited and attempted felonious sexual assault.

He was booked, later released on $10,000 cash bail and given an Oct. 17 arraignment date, according to police.

But later on Oct. 17, around 8:30 p.m., POP Unit members, with the assistance of Hudson officers, arrested Graham for the second time in 10 days, this time charging him with an additional 15 felony counts police say stem from their continued investigation into his alleged inappropriate sexual contact with a juvenile.

The new charges against Graham, 39, of 12 Alpine Ave. in Hudson, include nine counts of felonious sexual assault; four counts of endangering the welfare of a child; and two counts of indecent exposure and lewdness, according to police.

Once booked on the charges, Graham was apparently held overnight pending arraignment on the 15 new counts. That procedure took place Friday, according to police – but despite the number and serious nature of the charges, he was again released on bail, the amount of which police didn’t provide.

Both arrests, police said, stem from investigations by the department’s Computer Forensics Unit, which focus on the sexual exploitation of children on the internet.

In the first investigation, detectives garnered evidence that pointed to Graham as a suspect, leading to his arrest on the two initial charges, police said.

But the detectives continued investigating Graham even after his arrest, and soon “located a possible juvenile victim (with whom) Graham had (allegedly) engaged in inappropriate sexual contact,” police said.

The date of Graham’s next scheduled court appearance isn’t yet known.

The police department, which is affiliated with the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, asks that anyone who may have any additional information on the case – or anyone who wishes to anonymously report cases of child exploitation – to call the department’s Crime Line at 589-1665.
