Mass. man charged for Lowes thefts
NASHUA – Police say a Massachusetts man is behind a series of thefts from the Lowes store in the city.
Wesley Philbrick, 54, of 189 Dalton Street in Lowell, Massachusetts, is charged with three counts of theft by deception. He was arrested Thursday in Lowell and extradited to New Hampshire to face the charges.
Philbrick allegedly stole from the Nashua Lowes several times last year, and was identified using store surveillance video. A warrant for his arrest was filed by police, leading to Thursday’s capture.
Philbrick had two prior theft-related convictions, police say, so each new charge is a class B felony. Class B felonies are punishable by up to seven years in prison.
