48 new COVID-19 cases, one death on Thursday

CONCORD – The state Department of Health and Human Services announced 48 new positive test results for COVID-19 and one death Thursday.
The death involved:
1 female resident of Cheshire County, 60 years of age and older
Today’s results include 30 people who tested positive by PCR test and 18 who tested positive by antigen test. There are now 308 current COVID-19 cases diagnosed in New Hampshire.
Several cases are still under investigation. Additional information from ongoing investigations will be incorporated into future COVID-19 updates. Of those with complete information, there are eighteen individuals under the age of 18 and the rest are adults with 42% being female and 58% being male. The new cases reside in Hillsborough County other than Manchester and Nashua (6), Merrimack (6), Rockingham (6), Belknap (3), Sullivan (3), Carroll (2), Cheshire (1), Grafton (1), and Strafford (1) counties, and in the cities of Nashua (6) and Manchester (4). The county of residence is being determined for nine new cases.
There are currently 22 individuals hospitalized with COVID-19. In New Hampshire since the start of the pandemic, there have been a total of 100,106 cases of COVID-19 diagnosed.
