Free Lunch and Learns, from Bridges by Epoch, are being offered at the Nashua Senior Activity Center.

FLEA MARKET

The senior center clear market us scheduled for 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5.

This flea market will showcase more than 30 vendors, selling both new and used merchandise, a book sale, a “fill-a -bag” for $5 sale in the Thrift Shop, a raffle and more. Enjoy a bite from our cafe and bake sale. Plenty of free parking.

VERTIGO AND BALANCE

A vertigo and balance seminar is scheduled for 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16. This event is hosted by Southern New New Hampshire Vertigo and Balance. Preregistration is required. To register, call 603-559-6155.

RIVIER UNIVERSITY WELLNESS CLINIC

Rivier University Wellness Clinics will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Nov. 30 and Dec. 14 at the senior center.

Clinics are on the second floor.

The following checks are available: BMI, glucose/A1C, medication reconciliation, cholesterol, blood pressure and lab reviews.

BREAKFAST WITH SANTA

Breakfast with Santa is scheduled for 8-11 a.m. at the senior center. The Nashua Lions Club is sponsoring the event to benefit the center. Breakfast includes eggs, French toast, sausage, coffee and orange juice. Visit Santa and then stroll through the gingerbread house village exhibit. To enter a gingerbread house in the exhibit or for more information, contact Judy Porter at 603-816-2649.

Free vision screening will be available, and new toys will be collected for Nashua PAL.

GERALD CHARLES DICKENS

“Mr. Dickens is Coming” to the senior center at 12:30 p.m. on Dec. 3. Tickets for the event are $20, and may be purchased at Fortin Gage, the Nashua Senior Activity Center and at fortingage.com.

Gerald Charles Dickens is the brea-great grandson of famed author Charles Dickens.

PETER’S HOLIDAY HOP

The Nashua Senior Activity Center will present a musical variety show event with Peter J. Previte at 1:30 p.m. Dec. 14 (snow date is Dec. 15).

Peter’s Holiday Hop is a concert and dance all rolled into one entertaining show with something for everyone. In addition to performing several holiday tunes, he will play rock and pop songs from the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s as well as classic country including line dance numbers. Tickets are available at the front desk beginning Nov. 7. Deadline to purchase tickets is Dec. 8.

CATERED CHRISTMAS DINNER

A catered Christmas Dinner will be at the senior center from 9-10:30 a.m. on Dec. 24.

A choice of either ham or a turkey dinner will be available with side dishes and dessert. Meals will be delivered curbside to your car.

Dinners are free and open to all seniors. The deadline to register is Dec. 6.

Annual Christmas Toy Drive.

Donations of new, unwrapped items may be made in the collection box in the lobby of the Nashua Senior Activity Center starting Nov. 1 through Dec. 10.
