WHEATON, Ill. – Wheaton College student Stephen McKay of Nashua was recently inducted into the Wheaton College Scholastic Honor Society.
The faculty each year selects a limited number of students for membership in the Scholastic Honor Society. Selection is made on the basis of high scholarship, Christian maturity, and general promise. McKay was recognized for excellence in physics and mathematics.

Northeastern University
BOSTON – Northeastern University recently recognized those students who distinguish themselves academically during the course of the school year. The following students were named to the university’s dean’s list for the spring semester, which ended in May 2021.
In addition to achieving distinction through the dean’s list, these students are members of the University Honors Program, which offers high caliber students the chance to further hone their studies and interests, live in special interest residential communities, participate in enriched, interdisciplinary courses, and engage in research and creative endeavors, service, and global experiences. Invitation into the University Honors Program is highly competitive and students must maintain a high GPA to maintain membership.
To achieve the dean’s list distinction, students must carry a full program of at least four courses, have a quality point average of 3.5 or greater out of a possible 4.0 and carry no single grade lower than a C- during the course of their college career. Each student receives a letter of commendation and congratulation from their college dean.

Bucknell University
LEWISBURG, Pa. – Bucknell University presented degrees to more than 800 graduates at commencement on May 23.
The University’s 171st Commencement took place across three ceremonies spread throughout the day in Christy Mathewson-Memorial Stadium, allowing for proper social distancing amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Each ceremony honored graduates from Bucknell’s three colleges, with Arts & Sciences graduates at the first two ceremonies and Engineering, Freeman College of Management and master’s students recognized at the third. Dispersed seating on the football field was arranged for the graduates, as well as physically distanced pod seating for family and friends in the stands.
