Pets of the Week for July 17-18
Willow: Hello there, it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Willow and I am a one year old female Retriever, Labrador/Shepherd here at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua awaiting adoption. The staff and volunteers here say I am simply gorgeous, and well, they aren’t wrong! I have the most lovely tan fur and beautiful brown eyes. I am a spunky girl with LOTS of energy. I hope my new family will take me on lots of adventures to help stimulate me both mentally and physically. I would make a fantastic hiking partner, and would love to experience different trails so I can see and smell lots of new exciting things! I really enjoy playing with male canine friends, so ideally I’d like my new home to have a male four legged friend who can become my best friend! My new home should have older teens and up, and hopefully lots of fun toys and snacks. I am a smart girl, I know sit, down, stay and wait. I am quite food motivated so I can learn even more if you work with me! If I sound like the lady for you, come by and meet me today! We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at http://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-dogs.

Dusty: Greetings! My name is Dusty. I am a lovely nine year old girl with beautiful tan/blonde fur. I am independent girl who knows what I like and what I don’t like. I am friendly and affectionate after I get to know people. I do enjoy a petting session but I am not a lap cat. I am playful and a rousing game with the laser pointer or wand toy should be part of my daily activities along with a sunny spot to nap in. I have lived with a dog and it did not go well, so I will need to be an only pet in an adult household. I am looking for cat-experienced people who will give me time, space and encouragement as I settle into my new home. Does this sound like you? If I sound like the girl for you, come by the shelter and meet me today! We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at https://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-cats.
