Pets of the Week for July 3-4

By Staff | Jul 3, 2021

Reba: Hello! My name is Reba and I have travelled to New Hampshire all the way from Arkansas to find my forever family, could that be you? I am a two year old female Terrier/Mix with lots of love to give. I am a spunky gal and I hope my new family will take me on lots of adventures! I am tons of energy so ample play time and lots of walks will be a must. I also love to talk, so I’d do best not living in an apartment, as the neighbors might not like all of my chatting. Woof! I have some manners to learn so I hope you will continue my training and help me be the best I can be! Once I get to know you I am all about snuggles and pats. I would be a great companion, so if I sound like the girl for you come by the shelter and meet me today! We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at http://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-dogs.

Kit: Hello, how are you today. My name is Kit, I am a 7 year old beautiful male cat. I first came to the Humane Society when my family was no longer able to care for me. I was diagnosed with asthma and it made it difficult for my family to give me the proper medical care. Luckily the amazing folks here at the shelter were happy to take me in! I developed an upper respiratory virus and my health began to decline. The shelter’s medical team was called in on New Year’s Day because I was not doing well. At that time I was diagnosed with a secondary bacterial infection and started on antibiotics. After running some tests it became evident I had Pneumonia. Pneumonia is a serious condition in all of us, especially a cat with asthma. Luckily they caught it in time, and were able to take necessary precautions to help me get back to health. I have made excellent progress and am ready to find my forever home! My new family will need to be cognizant of my health needs, and I will need to go to a smoke free and fragrance free home. I am a sweet boy, and I have so much love to give. Please come by the shelter and meet today, I know we could be best friends! We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at https://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-cats.
