A Good Book

I breathe in

and pull you to me

callused fingers

on soft spine

devouring

you are still inside my mind

purring against my skull

I want to stitch you to my binding

savoring your words

sometimes I forget that

what is in my head

can be heard by no one else

so, I read you over and over

relishing the indulgence

never tiring of your secrets
