Merrimack Valley Conference for Women, to feature WHMA Executive Director and President Sara Bogosian

By Staff | Apr 3, 2021

History has shown us that when women stand together with a shared vision, they inspire change! So, while a lot has changed in the world over the past year, our need to feel connected, engaged, and inspired has not – making this year’s Merrimack Valley Conference for Women

more essential than ever. Conference organizers are committed to making this year’s event just as dynamic as past conferences, but at half the cost – just $25 per ticket thanks to our generous sponsors, along with supportive small businesses from the area.

“Regardless of our age, job choices, or family circumstances, there is likely a local woman who has faced similar challenges, making a connection with her may open a door, build a bridge, or change a life. We want to foster those relationships because we know how powerful they can be,” said Jen Maseda, founder and CEO, She’s Local and the Merrimack Valley Conference for Women. “Our local Board of Directors and speakers are leaders in our community and experts in their field, who have valuable advice to share and we want to give them an accessible local platform to connect with women, close to home.”

Please join us virtually on Thursday, April 8, from 8:00AM – 1:00PM for dynamic keynote speakers, expert panel discussions, fun-filled entertainment breaks, an exhibitor room, and of course-networking opportunities.

This year’s keynote speakers will be Best Selling Author & UMass Lowell Professor of Psychology, Dr. Carol Hay talking about The “F” word; Feminism and Best Selling Author & Award Winning Speaker, Liz O’Donnell talking about the Sandwich Generation; Caring for your aging parents while caring for growing children. Plus Director of the Entrepreneurship Center, Franky Descoteau will join us as this year’s Master of Ceremonies.

Adding to the day are two virtual breaks featuring a walk-through of the Whistler House Museum of Art with Executive Director & President, Sara Bogosian and delicious snack-making with Chef Vivian Acevedo of Panela restaurant in Lowell.
