Genealogists meeting slated for Sept. 26
The Virtual spring meeting of the New Hampshire Society of Genealogists is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. on Sept. 26 via Zoom.
Jane E. Wilcox, a professional genealogist, host of radio program The Forget-Me-Not Hour: Your Ancestors Want Their Stories to Be Told, member of the Association of Professional Genealogists (APG), author, blogger, lecturer, editor and member of many genealogical societies, will take part.
She specializes in researching original records, including women’s sources often overlooked by researchers.
Lectures will include, Finding American Women’s Voices through the Centuries: Letters, Journals, Newspapers, and Court Records; A Tale of Woe: An Eighteenth-Century Woman’s Story Using Original and Authored Sources; and Forget Me Not: Remembering Our Grandmother’s Stories.
