Pets of the Week

By Staff | Jun 27, 2020

Zeke: Hi there! My name is Zeke! I travelled all the way from Arkansas to find my forever home, could that be with you? Let me tell you a little bit about myself. I am just over 2 years old with a handsome black/white coat. I am a medium sized Siberian Husky/Retriever/ Labrador mix looking for a quieter adult only home where I can get comfortable and come out of my shell. I love to talk, and I have that lovely husky voice that is sure to amuse you! However it might be best if you don’t live in an apartment because your neighbors might not like our long chats. I’ve heard I am pretty smart, I even know how to sit already! I do have some resistance to handling so I’ll need my new family to be patient with me. I’ll need to be the only pet but would like my new parents to work with me on desensitizing around other dogs. I can be very sweet and loving but it takes me some time to trust new people. If you are patient and think I’d be a good fit give the shelter a call at 603.889.2275 and set up an appointment to meet me! The Humane Society for Greater Nashua is temporarily closed to the public, and we will do adoptions by appointment only. We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. Angie: Hello there friends. My name is Angie, and my life was recently turned upside down. My owner passed away unexpectedly, so now I am here at the Humane Society for Greater Nashua looking for a new home. I am 15 years old and am a darling tabby with bright green eyes. I am an independent lady who just wants a window to sit in and soak in the sun. I can be very playful and enjoy batting at wands. I have the potential to be a snuggle bug, but I will need time to adjust to my new surroundings. I am calm and am perfectly content doing my own thing while you go about your day. Senior cats have many perks and I encourage you to look into them and learn why I might be the best fit for you! I do eat a specific food that I enjoy, please ask the adoption counselors about my dietary needs. I’m looking for a gently loving home where I can retire and be the only pet. If I sound like the cat for you give us a call at 603.889.2275 and set up an appointment to meet me!
