Wood flowers might soon take over Amherst’s Bridge of Flowers. The Amherst Lions Club is selling engraved, painted flowers to help beautify the bridge. Selling for $10 each, one may choose a shape, color and limited engraving with all funds going to local charities. To order, contact an Amherst Lion or go to the Lions’ website at e-clubhouse.org/sites/amherstnh and download the order form. Once an order is completed, the Lions will send a receipt and a photo of the ‘flower’ when it is ‘planted’ in either one the flower pots or in one of the three garden beds.
