Pets of the Week for June 6

Pemi

Pleased to meet you, my name is Pemi! I am an 11 year old sweet and snuggly adult cat, but I am a kitten at heart. I came to the shelter as a stray so my previous life is a mystery. I have soft and silky hair and love to be pet and snuggled! During my short time here I have endeared myself to the staff with my easy going demeanor and friendly personality. I can also be rather chatty so I’d be the ideal conversationalist companion. I am hoping that my new home has a comfy couch, a sunny window for me to nap and lounge on. I may be open to living with another cat with a similar personality after the appropriate introductions. I am declawed so any cat or dog I live with will need to calm and friendly. I am eager to meet my new family. Might that be you? Please call 603.889.2275 and speak to one of our Adoption Counselors if you are interested in learning more about me. Trust me you won’t be disappointed. We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at http://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-cats.

Pinch

Woof! Hi there, my name is Pinch! I am a nearly three year old Chihuahua, Short Coat/Miniature Pinscher! Although I might sound small, I am 30 pounds! I’ll need to go to a home where I can get proper diet and exercise, but after this pandemic isn’t that something we all need? Let’s take walks together! I have a lot of energy and am pretty vocal and excitable. And I’ll need to go to an adult only home. You could say I’m sort of a ladies man since I tend to warm up much easier to women rather than men. I’ll need to get some desensitization and training around men to help me feel more comfortable with them. Once I do warm up to you, I can be sweet and cuddly as can be! Because of my high energy and how chatty I can be, I’d do best not to live in an apartment setting. Want to learn more? Call the shelter today to meet me and speak with a dog adoption counselor. They know a lot about me. My adoption requires the Director of Animal Care’s approval. We all have our age appropriate vaccines, we’ve been spayed and neutered, and we have been micro chipped. You can learn more about us and all of our friends for adoption at http://www.hsfn.org/adopt/available-dogs.
