Hudson Chamber of Commerce holds Community Expo

By Staff | Jun 2, 2013

HUDSON – The Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce held its annual Community Expo at Alvirne High School on Tuesday, May 14.

More than 50 exhibitors participated, from local businesses to community organizations and school groups.

The expo provided residents an opportunity to find out more about those working for the community.

Margaritas Restaurant, of Nashua, was a big hit with the wonderful delights it shared with everyone who stopped by for a tasty treat of chicken baby chimis, salsa, chips and special guacamole. There also was a delicious cupcake display made by Alvirne culinary students.

More than 40 prizes were awarded. For a list of winners and photos, visit www.facebook.com/greaterhudsonchamberofcommerce?fref=ts.

“The Greater Hudson Chamber is committed to its business members and community working to bring them together by hosting such events like the expo,” said Brenda Collins, executive director of the Greater Hudson Chamber of Commerce.

“This year’s expo was very successful, with a wide range of businesses and organizations, as well as several student-run clubs from Alvirne High School participating as exhibitors to collectively highlight why Hudson is such a great community.”

Sponsoring businesses were the Area News Group; Charles Schwab, Nashua branch; Digital Credit Union; Enterprise Bank; IM Wireless; the Hudson Mall; and Margaritas.
