Eleanor Ann (Dushuttle) Chamberlain
Eleanor Ann (Dushuttle) Chamberlain, 87, of Merrimack NH peacefully passed away on Friday, January 6, 2023 in her sleep at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack NH after a period of declining health.
She was born and raised in Lynn MA on July 17, 1935, the only child of Raymond Leroy and his wife Blanche Myrtle (Henry) Dushuttle, graduating from Lynn English High School. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church where she served as a Sunday School teacher for over 35 years as well as on various groups and committees. She was a preschool teacher at the Little Red Schoolhouse in Lynn. Her hobbies included knitting, latch-hook, plastic-canvas, and macrame, often selling her creations at church fairs. Eleanor enjoyed camping, socializing, spending time with her family, the Red Sox, and using her sense of humor.
Eleanor is predeceased by her husband of over 56 years, Richard “Dick” Chamberlain, and will be forever loved by her son David Chamberlain and his wife Janet of New Boston NH; daughter Sharon Belliveau of Merrimack NH; four grandchildren Daniel Chamberlain and his wife Abigail, Douglas Chamberlain, Allison and Amanda Belliveau; and great-granddaughter Stella Eleanor Chamberlain.
Visitation hours will be held at the Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH on Thursday January 12, 2023 from 2 – 5 PM. A service will follow at 5 in the funeral home chapel.
