CONCORD – The New Hampshire Liquor Commission (NHLC) expects to open a new 12,000-square-foot NH Liquor & Wine Outlet in Concord on Thursday, August 11, at Exit 17 off Interstate 93. The new state-of-the-art Outlet, which will feature more than 4,000 sizes and varieties of wines and spirits, will be located at 11 Merchant’s Way in the Concord Crossing Plaza on Whitney Road alongside a brand-new 80,000-square-foot Market Basket.

“We are pleased to be opening this new Concord NH Liquor & Wine Outlet, which is conveniently located right off Interstate 93, allowing us to better serve the greater Concord area, as well as travelers visiting our Lakes Region and beyond,” said NHLC Chairman Joseph Mollica. “Over the past 10-plus years, we have made a commitment to upgrade, enhance and modernize our Outlets to best serve our 12 million annual customers today and for decades to come. With spacious aisles, an expansive product selection, the most competitive prices, and state-of-the-art features, this new Concord Outlet represents the latest example in our effort to fulfill that commitment. We know this new Outlet will play a major role in driving maximum revenue to the New Hampshire General Fund and the critical state services it supports.”

The highly anticipated new Concord NH Liquor & Wine Outlet will be strategically located next to Market Basket, HomeGoods, Service Credit Union, Wendy’s and other premier retailers with visibility to more than 34,000 vehicles per day. With special sections devoted to premium and ultra-premium spirits and high-end wine, the new Outlet will feature LED fixtures, oversized aisles for easy shopping, and Outlet Price Busters and Wine Power Buys selections. NHLC modeled the new Concord Outlet after several recently built NH Liquor & Wine Outlets.

Since 2012, NHLC has renovated, relocated or constructed new NH Liquor & Wine Outlets in more than 30 communities. Over the past year, NHLC opened new NH Liquor & Wine Outlets in Rindge, Claremont, New London, and Littleton and is building new Outlets in Manchester and Nashua.
