Manchester jeweler awarded Registered Jeweler title by the American Gem Society

MANCHESTER – Marc Duquette, was awarded the title of Registered Jeweler of the American Gem Society, an association of professional jewelers in North America.

Duquette is the store manager of Day’s Jewelers in Manchester, an AGS accredited Jeweler. Duquette’s work at Day’s brought him to the American Gem Society Registered Jeweler program. By earning this prestigious title, he has demonstrated extraordinary knowledge and experience in the jewelry industry, especially in the field of diamonds.

“A professional title from the American Gem Society is one of the highest honors one can achieve in the jewelry industry,” said Michael Richards, CG, president of the American Gem Society board of directors. “An American Gem Society title cannot be earned easily and is a guarantee of expertise, knowledge and ethics.”

To earn this title, Duquette has completed required coursework and classroom study, along with written and practical exams in diamond grading. His certification regards him among the leading authorities on diamonds in the U.S., speaking to both his incredible knowledge and dedication to the jewelry industry.
