DiBona Dental Group Celebrates 45 Years in Business

EXETER — DiBona Dental Group, a family-owned dental practice serving the Greater Seacoast, is celebrating its 45th anniversary. The practice, which employs twenty people, is requiring staff to be fully vaccinated and masked in response to the ongoing pandemic.
New Hampshire currently does not require health care or dental workers to be vaccinated. Says owner Dr. Elizabeth DiBona, “We chose to take this route because we owe it to our patients to create the safest experience that we can provide, including everyone in our office being fully vaccinated. We want to put our patients’ minds at ease, especially our seniors.” DiBona says the recent surge in COVID-19 has people nervous; “They appreciate the use of continued safety measures like screening all patients, effective sanitation protocols, masking, and the vaccination requirement of staff.”
Ree Katrak recently moved to Riverwoods Retirement Community and has been a patient at DiBona Dental Group for eight years. She says, “I appreciate their decision to require that all their staff be vaccinated since our state government did not mandate it. It’s important to me and it allays any fear and confusion. It’s the responsible thing to do!”
Elizabeth DiBona is a third generation dentist. The practice was founded by her father, Dr. Mark DiBona, who started it back in 1976 and retired a couple of years ago. Says Dr. Elizabeth DiBona, “I feel so fortunate to work with a dynamic team who truly care about one another.” DiBona Dental offers implant dentistry, general and cosmetic dentistry, with the latest technology. Owner Dr. Elizabeth DiBona is one of five dentists at the practice, which includes two specialists; an endodontist and periodontist.
In January, DiBona Dental Group will move into a new state-of-the-art building across the street from their current location on Hampton Road in Exeter. The practice continues to grow and is taking new patients.
